SAFETY IS A TEAM EFFORT AT EAS.
When it comes to ensuring safe working practices and performance on the job, no one is more committed than EAS. Our progressive safety program is focused on educating our workforce, identifying potential safety hazards and enforcing accident-prevention practices. These preventative measures include:
- Each of EAS's Field Superintendents has successfully completed a 30-hour OSHA Outreach Training Course for Construction tailored to our
needs as a mechanical contractor.
- Each of our Superintendents has received the National Safety Council Standard First Aid with AED training.
- Each new employee is drug screened and receives safety training before starting work.
- "Tool Box" safety meetings are held each week by superintendents.
- Jobsite safety inspections are conducted periodically by EAS's Safety Director.
EAS is very proud of our safety record having completed one specific project with no recordable accidents for a period of one year with an
average of 60 employees and a peak of 87 employees. EAS has also had a two-year run with no lost time accidents.
