Design-Assist / Design-Build is a delivery model centered on early partnership and shared accountability. EAS joins the project team during design development to align the mechanical scope, cost, and constructability. With design-assist mechanical contracting, our fabricators and other contractors collaborate with architects and designers.

EAS was the mechanical contractor for this leading confidential pharmaceutical client and a member of the IPD project team. EAS worked with engineer, owner, and other key trade partners to provide pre-construction design, Full BIM modeling and coordination, and competition of mechanical scope of work. To accelerate the schedule, we managed the layout, assembly, and delivery of the prefabricated systems.

As part of the IPD process, EAS worked to identify cost-saving measures to reduce project budget. schedule, off-site construction, alternate materials, and labor savings.

EAS was the mechanical contractor for the Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina - Buildings 801 & 802 project in Liberty, North Carolina. This construction project was for a 1,000,000 SF facility within the battery plant and manufacturing market.

EAS worked with the Engineer, Owner, and other key trade partners to provide Pre-Construction Design, Full BIM Modeling and coordination, and completion of the mechanical scope of work. As part of the IPD process, EAS worked to identify cost-saving measures to reduce the project budget. This integrated approach yielded schedule, off-site construction, alternate materials, and labor savings, allowing EAS to successfully navigate a tight 14-month schedule per building.
