EAS Off-Site Construction designed, built, and shipped a 1500-ton chiller plant comprised of four (4) modular sections

Project Highlights

  • 1,120 SF Chiller Plant Footprint

  • EAS Off Site Construction built the chiller plant with (3) 500 ton machines (2 day one) in its High Point, NC plant.

  • Order for the chiller plant design services was received by the end of January. The design phase was completed by the end of May and fabrication began the first week of June. The central utility plant shipped the second week of December.

Project Details

  • (2) 500 ton chillers

  • (2) chilled water pumps, 50HP each, 1000 GPM, concrete inertia base

  • (1) plate and frame heat exchanger, 2000 GPM

  • (1) 2000A 480V switchboard

  • Chiller plant constructed to meet State of California Seismic Criteria

  • Chiller plant walls & roof: 2” foam panel with Kynar finish; 12” structural base

  • Refrigerant monitoring and evacuation systems
